Person’s Story

10 years ago I lost my boyfriend of 12 yrs to a fishing accident it changed me and my life forever I miss him so much and have been down a very rough road since his death he was my life I have anxiety and depression and some days it’s extremely hard for me especially around September.

We met and worked at friendly s for 12 years. He would always called me Alice from Mels diner he loved fishing and hunting.  
We loved going on nature walks he always joked around told jokes he could always make me smile we loved fishing we did that a lot. I’ll never forget our first kiss in his truck he called the beast we weren’t even dating yet lol. 

He had 70s red and silver Chevy .He was a cook and I was serving and then became asst manager. We fished at Chemung River in wells burg New York.

When we met we were both in a relationship. We became good friends before we got together we did a lot of hanging out at a bar just so we could talk and see each other away from our jobs. We found we had a lot in common we love the same music and he turned me on to Ozzy .I was not a real fan of him until he told me to just listen to the words of the songs. I did, and I loved it. The first night we were together Ozzy was playing. That was the night we knew we were soulmates, and it was in the beast (truck) lol
