How did you and your wife meet?It was actually at a small party and I spent the whole night hitting on her friend to make her jealous. I know it was a terrible idea but IT WORKED! lol. She then made me wait almost a month before she would come over to hang out. We've been together since then.Do you have memorable first date, or any dates that stand out?About two months into our relationship I took her on a road trip from Ohio to Arkansas to meet my family. It was the first time she had ever been there. One of the memories we have is spending time at the lake, then we went and played on the playground and took lots of pictures. One of the parks even had some dinosaur statues that we took pictures with.Any event or story that was a changing point in your relationship? I have a pretty bad past and right off I told her all about it, I told her if it was an issue then we could stop it before it got serious. She was completely okay with it and confessed about things in her own past that bothered her. When I proposed to her she knew I was serious and not just another guy.How did you propose? She is really big on family so I proposed on Easter at a family dinner with everyone around her. She used to write notes every day and stick them in my lunchbox. I saved all the notes and had different people in the family read what they said out loud. I told her the two most important days in a mans life is the day he is born and the day he finds out why, and when I met her I knew my why. Then I had her read the last note, it said "I can't wait until the day I become your wife”. When she looked up from reading I was on one knee and asked if she would be my wife.What was your wedding like? We struggled on where and how to get married. My family is in Arkansas and her family is in West Virginia. This drug on for over a year. Finally I took matters in my own hands and planned a trip to Florida. I hired a wedding planner and rented a beach for the ceremony. I didn't even tell her we were getting married until two weeks before we left for Florida. None of our family was able to come but we were surrounded by 15 of our close friends. We used Facebook live for the family to be able to see it. It was, in her words, one of the best moments in her life standing next to me. It filled her with pure joy knowing I would be the man she spends the rest of her life with.
